President admitted to CMH

Ref: President Zillur Rahman got admitted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) here Sunday for medical checkup.

He started for the hospital from his office at Bangabhavan at about 11:30am after he felt ‘unwell’, sources said.

Strong quake jolts northeast Japan, no tsunami

Ref:
A strong earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.4 jolted northeast Japan on Sunday, the Japan Meteorological Agency said.

The quake, at 3:54am local time Saturday, was also felt in Tokyo.

17 die in Bogra road crash

Seventeen people were killed and 22 injured as a crashed onto a passenger bus in Shahjahanpur upazila of Bogra early Thursday morning.
