BGP-BGB exchange fire on border

REF: Myanmar Border Police (BGP, former NASAKA) exchanged fire with Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in Naikkhangchari frontier of the district on Friday.

The gunfight started around 3:00pm near 52-international piller area at Panchhari border after BGP denied handing over body of a BGB member, whom they shot dead on Wednesday after abducting.

Ekram’s ‘aide’ arrested

REF:  Police have arrested a local Awami League (AL) leader on charges of his suspected involvement in the murder of Phulgazi Upazila Chairman Ekramul Haque in Feni town.

REF  The Dhaka University has fired a teacher for falsifying research and expelled 102 students from different departments and affiliate colleges for cheating in examinations.
