REF: Additional Attorney General and Chief Coordinator of International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) MK Rahman said that Human Rights Watch is working in favour of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami.
“Government is conducting war tribunal according to 1973 Act. This is our indigenous law and recognized by the constitutions,” he added.
“Human Rights Watch does not have any legal rights to comment about the verdict of the tribunal. Only Supreme Court can make comment whether the verdict is right or wrong,” Rahman said.
Earlier in the day, Human Rights Watch, one of the world’s leading independent organizations dedicated to defending and protecting human rights saying that war crimes trail against Ghulam Azam was flawed.
